The Glass Canopy is one of the best parts of owning a Lucid, and one of the biggest sources of cabin heat in a North Phoenix summer. Lucid itself sells a glass canopy sunshade set for the Gravity to help with heat and glare[9]. Film on the canopy is a lighter-looking, always-on option.

What Tint Is Legal on a Lucid in Arizona?
Under Arizona law, front side windows must let in at least 33% of light (plus or minus 3%), with reflectance no more than 35% (plus or minus 3%)[11]. Rear side and rear windows can go darker when the vehicle has outside mirrors on both sides[11]. 3M Crystalline is built to block heat without going dark, so you can stay light and stay cool. Sunroof or glass roof tint is quoted separately.

Can you tint the Lucid Glass Canopy?
Yes, we offer roof and canopy tint for Lucid Air and Gravity. It’s quoted separately, and we inspect your canopy glass before recommending a film. 3M Crystalline is our top pick for a light look with the most heat rejection in 3M’s automotive line.

Does window tint improve a Lucid’s range?
Tint doesn’t change your battery or motors, and no one publishes a range gain for window tint. What it does is cut the sun’s heat coming through the glass, so the A/C, which runs on your Lucid’s high-voltage battery, has less heat to remove. How much does PPF cost on a Lucid Gravity or Air?
Paint protection film at Optima starts at $925 for Partial Front, $1,650 for Full Front and $4,800 for Full Vehicle. Final pricing is confirmed after we inspect your vehicle.
Should I get ceramic coating or PPF on my Lucid?
They do different jobs. Paint protection film is a clear physical layer that takes rock chips and light scratches on high-impact areas. Ceramic coating adds gloss and makes washing easier. Many owners put PPF on the front end and ceramic coating over the whole car. Ceramic coating at Optima starts at $1,295.
Do you detail Lucid interiors?
Yes. Our detailing packages cover the interior and exterior together, starting at $260 for a Level One Detail on a car or crossover. Pick your vehicle size on our Auto Detailing page to see your starting price. We also do interior-only and exterior-only options. Reach out for details.
